Overview
The Skindog Single Fin, available in 7" and the new 8" size, is designed to deliver a powerful yet fluid feel, perfect for harnessing speed and control in bigger surf. Paired with the Skindog Side Bytes, these fins create a 2 + 1 setup that enhances drive, stability, and maneuverability. The side bytes add speed and control, allowing surfers to handle critical sections and maintain stability through sweeping turns. Together, the setup offers a dynamic and versatile longboard experience, ideal for both traditional and progressive surfing styles.
Both the Skindog Single Fin and Side Bytes feature Performance Core (PC) construction with innovative AirCore technology. This design incorporates a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin, reducing the amount of fiberglass needed in the resin transfer molding (RTM) process. The result is a significantly lighter fin with precise flex characteristics. AirCore technology allows for total manipulation of the flex, enhancing responsiveness and control, while maintaining durability and high performance across a variety of wave conditions.

Complimenting his highly technical Thunderbolt range the template offers a balance of drive and hold, enabling enough pivot to execute tight turns and more radical manoeuvres.

Fins with AirCore Technology feature a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin.
AirCore technology reduces the amount of fiberglass required in the RTM molding process making it much lighter while allowing total manipulation of the flex.

- No need for a plate and screw.
- Ability to adjust your fin position in the box mid-surf.
- Easily insert or remove your fin in seconds. No fin key required.
- Designed to be used in most existing Longboard boxes. No new box required.
